Okay...so I finally got around to looking at your cake blog and I'm totally in LOVE! Your cakes are absolutely amazing. Where do you find the time to do this stuff? Your talents are simply astounding. Thanks for sharing the beauty of all your creations. I look forward to seeing more! Makes me wish like getting married all over again to my husband just so I can request one of your cakes!!! :) Love, Becky
oh thanks i had kind parents who let me make cakes as a child- when i got married i decided to do my own and well doing them here and there ever since. I will usually only do 1 wedding a year for close friends-- too crazy with 3 kids I tell my husband it is a shame i like being married to him because i'd love to get married again(and i could so stand new dish towels, a new blender, etc)
I love this cake and I think my son would too. Is the recipe for the marshmellow fondant posted?
here is the recipe I use- although I use generic brands of everything and it's fine and mine never takes that much pdwr sugar?

I love the r2d2 cake! I need to make one this weekend for my nephews and I was going to do a simple laying down one, but after seeing yours, I feel like going all out! Thank you!
Do you have your pound cake recipe posted anywhere?
I'm sure that is key to getting this to stay together.
Please share...
